Less is more

With Restylane® you can achieve optimal results with less filler gel compared with other hyaluronic acid injectables.8,14,15

Avoid looking “done”

Are you concerned that your facial expressions, like your smiles and laughs, will look unnatural after a filler treatment? With Restylane® there’s no need to worry. Restylane® DEFYNE and Restylane® REFYNE have both been proven to maintain natural facial expressions after treatment.9,16–19

Less worry about puffiness

For some treatments, avoiding puffiness is essential, not least when treating the under-eye area.20–22 Restylane® EYELIGHT, Restylane® and Restylane® LYFT have all been proven to have less water uptake compared with competitor brands.22–27

Precise and predictable

Restylane® offers fillers with meticulously researched properties, allowing injectors to select the ideal product for achieving the desired outcome.1–4,6,28 Learn more about gel technologies below.

THE HISTORY OF HYALURONIC ACID DERMAL FILLERS

When Restylane® was launched more than 27 years ago, it was the world’s first non-animal dermal filler with stabilized hyaluronic acid.11,47 Before, hyaluronic acid gels were of animal origin, with the associated higher risks of causing unwanted immune reactions.47–49

Hyaluronic acid is a native molecule that occurs naturally in our bodies.49,50 It is a polysaccharide, a kind of sugar molecule, which can bind huge amounts of water – 1,000 times its own weight.49–53 Hyaluronic acid therefore helps our bodies to retain water and to keep our body tissues soft, hydrated and flexible.51–56

Restylane® uses a customized hyaluronic acid that is the closest to skin’s own.47,50,57,58 This pure, high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid mimics what is naturally present in our skin to ensure patients are getting the optimal treatment outcome.3,47,58–60
